are the 99+ and 94-98 filler necks (from the gas tank to the opening where the gas cap goes) the same?
i want to switch to the 99+ style since they use a newer style gas cap that doesnt require like 4+ turns to get it off like the 94-98 ones. The 99+ ones are like a half a turn to get it on/off, much more convienent and i figured i'd swap them if it fit, when i do my fuel pump.
anyone know?

Yup. I read somewhere where one had swapped them. Only difference is in the pumps and electronics.

Actually I think they are differnt, but interchangeable for sure. When we did Keith's fuel pump install it seemed totally different unbolting his then mine, but I hadn't done mine in so long who knows, either way they should be interchangeable even if they are slightly different.

anyone know where i might be able to find one? or anyone have a spare 99+ fuel tank with one on it laying around?
i know ford will probably want a pretty penny for one.

none of my junkyards have any mustangs :(
if someone is willing to get one from a junkyard by them (if its cheap) i'd be willing to pay them and hook them up with a little money. anyone intrested?

well i have one being sent to me... it will be here on the 8th.
I will post when im done swapping them and if they were any different or anything like that.
