ok so i'm waiting to recieve/instal my fully NA heads, cam, and cut and weld Intakes!
what i'm wondering is if i need to upgrade the stock 14LB injectors and/or fuel pump, or anything else fuel related. i don't think i would need a new maf, but would say a pro m maf do anything for me?
also i was thinking of adding a lil N20 after everything is installed and then i would def upgrade the fuel stuff, if i do N20, what would be some good upgrades? thanks

If it was me I'd get a set of 19 or 24lb injectors, 190-255lph fuel pump and dyno tune it.
I run 24's and a 255 NA with a good tune.
24s, a 190lph and an adjustable fuel regulator will suffice, then a toonerama

Mabey i would be better off too go back too the 19#'s or even 24#'s and throw the stock MAF back on and get tuned! what do u think?

well a tune is for sure, i had one lined up for the 22nd, but jerry has to goto California, and no more dyno tune day!
but i'll get some dyno runs and get a microtuner for sure. hmm now i guess i gotta go look at prices and stuff! any brands ya'll reccomend? i was thinking ford huh?

My 24's will be off the car shortly if you are interested in them.

they seem kinda big, but if i do N20 it would be a lil safer or no?
so the real question, how much?

Keep at least 24s. You'll need to stay with a bigger MAF. You will prob peg your stock MAF.

what do you think about my setup?
it'll be all the bolt ons
cut and weld intakes
fully NA Heads
220/220 cam
Get a fuel pump and at least 19s. Don't bother with a MAF yet...

The real only diff between my setup and his is that i have a Morana 4.2L, heads are ported by diff people, cam is almost the same- and my #'s are not showing it even with a proper tune..
Here is a clip from my tune.. http://v6power.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27984&highlight=
Finally a nice 12.9-13.2 (AFR) right across the map, with 28 total degree timing
We spun the load on a a local Mustang MD-600-HP chassis dynamometer. I have updated my sig so everything is now recent.
Max Power: 195.7 @ 5300 RPM
Max Torque: 214.4 @ 3600 RPM
I'm starting to wonder if my problem lies elsewhere, my drivebilty is shit my idle is still somtimes erratic and it took Matt (SCT Dealer here in Calgary) at the Mustang Shop almost 7 hours too tune this thing :(
Im doing a compression test and a leakdown hopefully this weekend if i can get the leakdown test gauge. Im beginning to wonder if something is up with my HEADS or valvetrain wise.. I do smoke some blue out the drivers side at idle when its hot but im hoping thats my 1 lower too head bolt that broke a while back, in replacement i used one 2 short and wasn't seating all the way :banghead: could that be sucking oil into the intake?

ok so i'm looking at injectors and stuff on other mustang boards and ebay and see alot of 19's and 24's for sale.
how do i know if they are new style or old, and what will fit my 95 with a 97 engine?
also i am looking at fuel pumps as well and was wondering whats the best?
looks like i'm gonna go with 19's and a 190, unless i can find a better deal on 24's or 255.

The only way to tell is ask the seller what year they came off of. Anything 99+ are the newer style connectors and you could still use them, you would just need to cut and splice.

Just check ebay for a good deal on a 255lph Walbro there everywhere. Just make sure you get one for our non-returnless fuel systems.

Wouldn't larger injectors and a bigger pump adversely affect mileage and run too rich...

ok so the pump is a go but now i have a deal for 19's for $20 shipped
and now ii'm pretty sure i'm gonna go with a NX stage 1 wet kit. so which would be better 19's or 24's. i'm thinking 19's but not sure, maybe i should buy them both and sell the one's i don't decide to use!
