Can someone help me with this, please. I've replaced the EGR valve and reset the code. After a short drive the code is back. The motor's running rough when under very low throttle. It's barely noticible at idle, and not at all under power. Everything is stock on the engine. The exhaust is from Roush. 97,000 miles.

Thanks in advance for any help!

DPFE sensor is probably bad.

Justin, is the DPFE sensor interchangable between 94-98 and 99+ ?

They went to a new design in 01 or 02, but I think they are all backwards compatible, not sure though.

I just wanted to say thanks, Justin. One new part, 5 minutes to install, and my car's running like new! Bravo!

What is DPFE?

DPFE stands for Differential Pressure Feedback EGR. It is used by the PCM to measure the pressure at the EGR tube, hence it lets the PCM knows if enough exhaust gas is going recirculating back to the intake also, it lets the PCM knows if your EGR Valve is clogged up, just base on pressure.....
