I recieved and installed my 60mm throttle body from RGR today. Install was pretty easy, i just had to cut and splice a few wires for the tps.
I noticed gains throughout the entire rpm range and quicker throttle response. The boost is building in the intake much quicker now.
Only problems... I picked up a slight vibration/friction in the gas pedeal. This really gives me a major brain fart trying to figure the cauze.
Other thing is when i shift or rev high I get the open air discharge bpv sound like the high power turbo cars. It sounds cool but it never did that before and I think something may be wrong. i checked things out and everything seems ok.
Another issue that got worse is my compressor surge problem. My little bpv isnt venting as well as I need and I need to get that straightened out asap to prevent compressor harm and help drivability.
Can't wait to get my custom intake and try that out too images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Maybe because i thought it was funny that having a 60MM TB was a big deal in the stone ages (see 2001) :uhh:

Relax buddy, i'm just doing by daily dose of post-whoring :p

Man, I saw the thread title and though it was pretty damn strange that Dan would install his turbo kit and then comment on a 60mm TB. :derek: Unless there is some benefit in tech info, please let retired threads stay there. Especially if all your doing is making some lame 3-word comment.
:disgust: :disgust: :disgust:

Why? What's so special about old threads that's got everyone so pissy :( Its not like it was Ryan Mckay's post on his 11.9 or something? :derek:

It's just aggravating to think your reading something current when it's old. A lot of people follow other's projects and look forward to updates. WHen you think your getting an update and it's an old thread, it's sort of like going to a post with a title like *WW* Hottest girl ever!!!! only to find someone talking about a vid they watched and theres no goddamn pics. I believe the term here is "let-down"

:uhh: OK smarty. :uhh:
You are right, I didn't specify the exact number, but I did say that it was more than one. The plural, "spark plugs" refers to more than one plug.

(haha :smash: I looked at my list and see I repeated it there, but I really only bought them once)

no hard feelings man, I'm just giving you a hard time like you are the others...
