yeah, Justin got a great shiftkit atleast based on his 1/4 mi ET images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

after all the people that have had transgo problems I don't know if I would go that route or not, even though alot of people say the problems that some experience with transgo are do to not installing it correctly, maybe, but appearently there isn't many people that know how to install transgo images/smiles/icon_sad.gif

I would go with the shift kit that Justin has, I hadn't heard of it before but the #'s speak for themselves images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I dont think I could rip into the tranny myself and do those mods without screwing it up though.

Yeah, you would difinately have to get a tranny shop to do the install, but there has been quite a few people that, have actually gotten tranny shops to do the work (transgo) and some how about a month or so later their whole tranny has to be rebuilt or replaced (most rebuild) but its really expensive!! So like I said i think if I was looking for a auto tranny shift kit I would go with the one that Justin has, because of my knowledge so far he hasn't had any problems and he has some impressive #'s to back it up!! images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

edit: put sign on 2 times in one post-major illegal move here!! images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Jerry designed that tranny and he knows how to mod it. The J-mod is cheap and effective, and simple once you understand it all. With transgo you are mostly paying for instructions...you don't really need any additional parts to make your tranny shift faster.

I have been talking to Pete about this and I think I am going to make another road trip to Michigan & have him do it.

I do most of my own mods but I feel the trans is a little much for me to mess with.

Justin you gotta post your results and theories for all to see. Thanks.
