There's a new field in the profile section for "Year of Mustang".

Please click on Profile and add the year of your car as this
will make it easier for people to see what year stang you have when
asking questions. THERE IS NO EXCUSE NOT TO!! it takes all of 2 seconds to do... :baby:

p.s. i will be making this a required field upon registration.

also look for more fields in the near future..i will annouce them as i go.
member profiles will become an integral part of this site.

i put it in general and lounge..the two boards that get the most traffic.

it's not supposed to show up in your avatar. unless people want it there(i can do that). Click on a person's profile to see it.

id like to see it show up by the avatar. some people you dont know and it can help you answer their ?'s better.

That's cool and all (I put the year of mine in when I registered because I had to), but what would you do if someone who wants to register doesn't have a Stang?

Refuse to let them register? Or just let them register with the year of whatever car they own?

no its not, people come here to see what the V6 mustang is like and see if they want to buy one, you don't see them post much they mainly lurk which of course does not require registration but if they have questions they have to register, so its not stupid.

PLus many no longer have mustangs so just cause you don't own one does not mean its stupid to register. I say put what ever year your car is in that field.

Exactly Sprout. I'm registered on 4.2 F150 forums and T-Bird forums. Mostly to read about what people with our engines are up to. I also occasionally wander onto F-body sites to check out the competition ;)

It'd be nice if you could put in the years for more than one car. I have two mustangs and I could'n't put the years for both of them in there. So I put in the year for the one that has a V6 for now. :)

required field .. needs to be Location and year of stang ...
haft the time you don't know where anyone is ...

all that is needed is just zip code or just the state you are in..
not your address...
