I ended up using a 1/4" piece of plastic to cover the intake and a rubber plug for the line on the driver side.I cut the line going to the header smashed the end and welded it shut same on passenger header.I also taped the electonic connectors and zipp tied them under the throttle body. Based on the pics of the parts I removed can anybody tell me if there is anything else I am missing. Thanks

Hey justin I imagine the cali emissions has to do with the pump in the passenger side fender right. So basically I deleted all the egr and smog stuff correct?

wow, I can't believe how clean the engine looks with all that stuff gone, thats sweet! Too bad the 94-98 EGR stuff is at the back so when deleting it the motor doesn't look any better. :(

What is the advantage(s) of deleting the EGR?

Also, what is included on Cali cars for their emissions stuff. My car came from Cali so I assume that it has whatever it is. Does it effect performance?

DanStang I just did it to clean things up a little if you look at the pics you can see that its roomier.I'm not sure whats involved with the cali stuff but I think it has to do with the pump in the passenger fender.

The EGR just recycles the exhaust back into the intake. If you have emissions in your state its better to just leave it on. Ive already took if off of my new Cobra motor and it was real simple. Just have to cap the holes on the headers.
