I finally got to a place where I want to start planning what to do to my engine.
My question is, When I port and polish I'm still a bit undecide about what route to take as far as Cam and/or RR's to go with it.
I want to supercharge down the road, probably way down the road ($$), if you know what I mean. But I do plan on it! I want to go as far as I can N/A before the SC.
So what is a good Compromise, as far as cams/RR?
One more Question, will I need a chip once I do I/H/C??

maybe not, depending on the cam, but you'll sure like it a lot more witha a chip, and even more so with a legit tune.

Well the tune and the chip woulod definatly be done in the end, but of course it all comes down to $$. I was just wondering for practical reasons if the car would be drivable till the chip/tune.
Thanks for the info
I was noticing that alot of people here that have done the cam have gone with the 207/215, any particular reason why?

you say that you wanna go fast! Well it all depends on how much you wanna spend. If you can afford it, i would get SSM super heads that are supposed to out flow split-port heads. Are you single or split port? That will also come into factor when decideing on a cam. Give us some info on your car.

In my sig is all I have, 98 Single port. Well I do plan on putting some money into the car.
Right now I want to go with a cam that I will add when I get my heads and Intakes ported with a 3 angle valve job, plus I will get the runners shortened.
I fligure When I swap the cam out I will be putting in some better springs and since I'm not SC yet I may leave the con rods and pistons till then. I justr don't wanna lose power from going with a SC type cam in the mean time.
