its one damn thing after another with this car. after suspension got put on it seems if you take the exhaust out of the 3 yr old hangers it doesnt stay back in after driving around. Well while i was driving the exhaust fell out of the hangers on the drivers side and when it did the pipe between the muffler and the cat cracked and came off.

So instead of putting any money into this exhaust, I am just going to take the exhaust and muffler off the other side too unti lthe new motor and exhaust set-up go in, in another few months. I know it sounds kinda ghetto and cheap to go this route but i have given up on this car until the new stuff goes in. I don't want to fool with anything or spend money until then.

The way it sits now is there is the headers, cats and about 18 inches of pipe after the 02 sensors. Will I be fine with this even though I know I will lose some torque and it will be obnoxiously loud?

i've been running stock headers/cats/custom h-pipe and open after that for like a year now with no problems.

it actually doesnt sound bad at all (only goof thinks it does). I lost some low end power but gained a noticeable amount of top end power.

No mufflers with the stock cats shouldn't be TOO loud. But it WILL be loud.

No muff's and no cats = balls to the wall loud. :headbang:

When I finally get around to putting on LTs I'll be taking a 20mi or so ride on open long tubes to the exhaust shop.
