Get a NX nitrous kit, and play it safe.
Wet 75 shot. Thats the most hp you will ever get for that much money.
If nitrous isnt your thing; get a cheap cold air induction, get true dual exhausts of your choice, and get an ud pulley (if you plan on staying N/A).
I would go with the nitrous, you wouldnt even get half the hp of the nitrous with those other 3 mods I listed.
Talk to justin00v6 if you are interested in the NX.

For the induction:
Go to this page http://www.rpm-mustangs.com/ocat/boltons.html You can buy a MAC CAI, (I have it, I'd recommend it) for $169 shipped.
----Or you can go ahead and get the Mac CAI with the UD Pulley for a packaged lower priced deal at $328 shipped.
Now for the exhaust..
I got the Mac 99+ GT Catback from www.dallasmustang.com (Its a local store for me so you might want to check around for pricing). It was like $290 for me a few years ago.
Now that kit alone wont work with your car cause you have a restrictive Y pipe, go to a decent exhaust shop that can handle some fabricating, tell them to make you an H pipe or connect it with straight pipes. Tell them to get rid of the Y.
Shouldnt cost much to fabricate something like that.
You can easily do the CAI and exhaust for under $700.. May be kinda hard with those 2 things and the UD pulley, unless you install this stuff yourself.

holy cow!! 328 for a CAI and an UP??? 150ish for the CAI and I got pulley for $40. Look at the 4 sale boards on here and 3.8mustang.com as well as ebay

you might be able to get an alum ds with the leftovers too, if you do most of the work yourself (like the cai, pulley, and maybe the exhaust if you buy a full kit that includes the h/x pipe).

God luck finding a 99+ UD pulley for 40, they are different and cost at least twice as much

to elaborate more on "different", it means that for the pre-99's they sell just the pulley, but for the 99+ they sell a UD pulley and harmonic balancer together. that's why it costs more.

What i found effect on my 00 was the CAI (I got a delmot densecharger), UD Pulley, shiftkit (if your automatic), AL. driveshaft
for 700 thats a start but getting duals is a major plus too. Wouldnt trade in my borla for anything

haven't heard it myself, but i think erick (eval) has/had it? i believe bassani exhaust systems have been described as offering an exotic sound... i don't think you can go wrong with this one :) :headbang:
