I pretty much just went for a air\fuel readout so i could get my chip from pete. Anyways we only ran the car too about 5300rpm it was gettting a little lean a tad over 15.0, as soon as i get the chip i should make power too 6000.. Keep in mind this was on a mustang dyno about a 6-7% diff in #'s.

195rwhp @ 5200rpm
226rwtq @ 3700rpm

You need more fuel. And more cam (I told you) :)

Seems to me your were lean pretty much the entire run.

u are choking the intake... ghetto-fix: get half a set of 1.8RR's and put them on the intake valves. ;)
that will wake it up...

i have to agree kinda. the cam needs more lift no doubt. and maybe some more duration. but i have seen alot of the split port stuff do well on the smaller cams. heck look at my #'s and i was on a mustang dyno too. so thats no excuse. lol. and you need some more fuel and more timing i bet. my car loved more timing.

I need my reburn badly! I bet with a clean a\f all the way up, i should see some very pretty #'s!

Is this too LEAN like dangerously lean or should I even worry?

Nice, but I agree they could be a lot better for what you've got.My cam is smaller and my heads and intakes are stock and I managed 202rwhp. But I'm not sure what your #'s would be on an SAE dyno.

I would not even run that w/o a mail-order chip from Pete.
You have an auto, correct? * Percision Industries 3500 Stall *

OK, I see it :) that's why the RWtorque looks low (slushbox)

PS: did they forget to convert can. HP to US HP??? :laugh2:

Hard to hurt an NA motor running lean.... We can fix that easily. The A/F is fairly flat...it just needs fuel.

Do u think ill peak power at 6000rpm with this cam because thats where its set too be shifting right now..

Mabey the added fuel is a regulator problem. We tried adjusting the fp on the dyno, turning the fp regulator screw too add more fuel did nothing at all. Or does playing with the fp that way do nothing because its trying to work with the ecc?

No

On 94-98 cars the eec does not control the fuel pressure regulator. There
are no wires to it, it just runs off vacuum. If turning the screw of an adj
aftermarket regulator does nothing, you have a ghetooo AFPR.

Close enough to 6K to work well.
Peak power is probably around 5000-5.5K
but aggressive shifting calls for a shift
10% past the power peak or about
6k so it should be really close :)

This size of cam is pretty close to "right on"
for a max torque 4.2 (using Mustang upper)
but you might gain a couple of tenths by jockeying
the shift points possibly.
