I'm gonna be getting my v6 back and gonna try to get it going, I'm going to start with new o2's but my friend said he also got a VSS sensor code, I was wondering if you guys can check your books and see wherre that is located, I'm assuming it's on the tranny, I wonder if that would make her misfire, it would be wierd for it to do that because of that but it's all part of the same computer so maybe it's messing with that and messing up my timing or something, if someone could let me know that would be great, thanks folks.

Oops sorry, otherwise known as a vehicle speed sensor, I believe.

Yes, the VSS plugs into the transmission, and the wiring probably runs through the same harness/connectrors as the O2 sensors. May just be a loose conection.
for all the gory details, go to this page:

and look at the info on codes P0500, P0501, and P0503
I've got wiring diagrams for a 2000 if you need them. What year is your V6?

You that could cause a misfire? Who knows, gonna check when I get her back, may keep her and make her my guinny pig or get rid of her and check on this wrecked yellow convertible I found for hella cheap, used to be a v8 but it's complete with white leather interior just needs a engine and tranny so we'll see, be glad to have the v6 back, first I think she needs a tranny and than I'm thinking maybe some laughing gas, hehe.
