Default Any interest in tuning or dynoing the Saturday before the race?

If there is enough interest I will drag my dyno up there. I really need at least 2 guys for tuning to make it worth me coming a day early.

Hey Justin are you goin to be coming to the louisiana, mississippi, or exas area any time soon? What if i can get 10 people in Louisiana to get some tuning done?

Justin, I would be interested in getting a tune depending on the price. I can't commit to coming, though, until about 2 weeks before the event.

I will be going to the houston (april 28,29,30) and louisiana (may 5,6,7) FFW, they are only a week apart so I am just going to stay in the area instead of driving all the way back to FL after the houston event. We can do a dynotune day, if you get enough people together and set it up I will tune your car for free. Email me.

Pricing:

Pricing for Dyno-Tuning by Justin with the SCT software (you must have an SCT chip or flasher already, or buy one from VMP):
For new customers who will also be buying a chip or flasher (hardware):
NA X-Cal2 $470.00
FI X-Cal2 $520.00
NA 6600 Multi-Prog Chip $375.00
FI 6600 Multi-Prog Chip $425.00
+ dynotime

Pricing for previous VMP customers who already have hardware:
NA Previous customer $200.00
FI Previous customer $250.00
+ dynotime

Pricing for non-previous VMP customers who already have hardware:
NA Non-Previous customer $250.00
FI Non-Previous customer $325.00
+ dynotime

FI=forced induction, NA=naturally aspirated. Nitrous cars fall into the FI pricing category and tunes for NA and N2O are included in that price. For NA cars we include an 87 and 91-93 oct tune.

The above pricing includes tuning, dynotime will be $100 for the first 2hrs for the guys that I am tuning, then $100 each hour after. Most cars take less than 2hrs if there are no mechanical problems.

For those with the Pro-Racer package, training during your tuning session is available for an additional $200. We will go through the process of tuning your vehicle with you and show you how to use the SCT Advantage Tuning Software. Additional dyno-time may apply, at $100/hr after the first 2hrs.

I highly recomend the X-cal2, its easier to install, easier to use, it reads codes, it datalogs, and its USB so I can easily email you files to load onto it with your home PC.

If I will be tuning your car with an SCT Chip you must pull the EEC out and have it ready for me. The chip port will also need to be clean of any grease or potting and sanded slightly. If you have not done any of this there is an additional $50 charge for me to remove the EEC and reinstall it when I am done tuning.

I would be willing to give some of you guys a break on the price if its a relatively mild combo. Email (not PM) me if you are interested.

Any cars that you guys bring have to be mechanically sound, no problems, no fluid leaks. We won't have time to spend hours and hours troubleshooting a car. If everything is good mechanically I need less than 2hrs and anywhere from 3-10 runs depending on the combo.

I know you'll get people wanting dyno pulls and not tuning, I say you definately bring it down for the night before the race.

Like we discussed via PMs at 3.8 and e-mail. I'm down for a tune if the dyno day in GA doesn't happen on Feb. 4th. My car is mechanically sound and good to go.

Could it be safe to run a 100 shot with a just a tune or would I need fuel upgrades or a seperate fuel tank to make it happen? I'm happy with the 75 but if I can run more N20 SAFELY i'm all for it.

Anyone who is still seriously interested in tuning, email me, even if we have talked in the past. I will need deposits that are only refundable if for some reason I can't make it.

I need at least 3 guys to dynotune to make it worth me bringing the dyno.

We also still have to find a location to set up and run the dyno the day before the race.

How much is the deposit?

Maybe we could get it set up at the track's parking lot. That would be cool since it's close to the hotel.

I'll just jump on the Dyno for two runs if you don't mind. Then I'll know what kind of power I'm putting to the ground.
