The Supra, GNs and 03/04 Cobras all have the same thing in common - a good starting point. Imagine if all you had to do to make more power was upgrade a turbo or two and/or turn up the boost!

this is true, i got my v6 for 14,500 brand new, it was so cheap thats the economic starting point, had i been in the real world and working already, i would have had the money to make it fast already.

Love the title "dead hookers".
Our cars have the potential to go there. Just that no one knows the potential they have. Could you imagine if elelbrock or another huge company would make engine componets for our cars. Such as aftermarket heads, inyakes and such. Tom y does a real job working the stock componets but he dont have the type of cash compared to bigger companys for r&d.

What you don't believe in giving second chances to threads that never made it?

Wow, old.

I don't know if JP even has his supra anymore... have not seen him in a couple years. Go figure. Daddy might have bought him something else by now.

Let me make this clear: I am offering to hook you up with the straight six from my Fairlane. Evil is pointing out that my six has seven main bearings. Supra be damned, why not install a genuine, all-American Ford straight six?

All silliness aside, that "Falcon" (200/250 CID) engine (only those with 7 main bearings) ain't really too bad, IF you can top the block with an "Aussie" head (which has a separate intake manifold with a 2 barrel carburetor.)

Why not? Ford of OZ did, and pulled some fantastic power outta the straight six engine.

Google "Ford.au" and have a look around...
